Are you fully prepared to pass your bitcoin to your heirs after you die?
This is a question I struggled with for a long time after jumping into the bitcoin space. I completed all of the basics like getting my coins onto cold wallets & backing up my keys onto stainless steel plates. However I started questioning whether my spouse would be able to manage our bitcoin if I passed.

This anguish caused me to go into a very deep rabbit hole and begin to study security, privacy, sovereignty, and self-custody even more than I had been. I’m not an expert by any means, but I learned about PGP encryption, I downloaded wallets, I read about the Shamir Secret Sharing Scheme, I thought about what kind of process I could implement so anyone I could walk anyone through the process of accessing our keys and transferring our bitcoin, but only at the appropriate time and with the appropriate people.
We have created a service that allows us to customize the process to fit your specific needs.
Depending on the amount of time you have, your resources and knowledge of these topics, you could create a similar system from scratch. There is nothing proprietary about our system and the entire process can be created with free and open source software.
However, after speaking with friends, I realized the most people either didn’t have this knowledge or simply wanted to pay for the convenience of having the process completed for them, in a secure, sovereign way. With our system, we will walk you through the process and guide you through the steps, but we will never enter any passwords, we will never ask for your keys, we will never put you in a situation where your coins could be compromised.
